Yipes , they drained a litter and a half out of the right lung and within an hour I was feeling better, able to go with my walker and not the wheel chair. Giant step for mankind.
Busy week next week -- consultation with cardiologist on Tuesday, fluid drained from left lung on Wednesday and see the oncologist on Thursday.. .rest on Friday!
And rest is what I am going to go do now, too... oh, am going to get my hair cut tomorrow My friend Ann is going to drive me and this is a test of me lugging the oxygen on my own. Think positive!
I am so glad that you are on the road to recovery or at least not in the wheel chair which was quite disturbing. You feel better because you are getting your hair done.
Keep thinking good thoughts. Love, Dave

Glad you're getting some relief.
Could you be referring to our sweet Ann of Pasadena? Is she going to get her hair cut, too? I gotta know this stuff since I don't have a life or get haircuts. heh!

Oh Jan!!
I was so hoping that you would feel better after the draining. I didn't realize that you would have to go back again for lung number two! I hope that you insist that they still give you a 2 for 1 discount even with the additional visit!
You sound really energized...yay! When you go to have your hair done tomorrow, don't forget to take your camera. (I miss seeing your pictures on flickr.) It will be great to be able to see and hear all about your adventures in schlepping___________!!!!!!
Have you named the tank yet???
