Jet time again...
My little 95 year old mommy up in Seattle isn't feeling so swift, so I'm rushing around here preparing to fly up to see her, spoil her a bit, just be together doing nothing but knowing each other is there.
All those stories about crowded flights we are reading? True. I had a heck of a time getting a flight on short notice and even a harder one to get a flight back. But, the e tickets came from Alaska Air today, I've hired a driver to take me to the airport -- now to make my list of things to do before I can leave and begin tackling them.
Yeah, a load of wash is in, mail is ready to be sorted. Helps to get up at 5 a.m. to do that pre-trip thing, doesn't it? I'll be ready for a nap by 10 a.m.
Other than that? Feeling okay, just tired still from radiation. Does that ever go away? Maybe not.
My Pet Scan will be the last week in August so will get back from Seattle just in time for that. Son Lee ( Leegoldberg.com) is back from France, Belgium, Holland and Germany and hope to see him before I take off. He leaves again on the 25th for London. My son, the jet setter! So,if can't see him tomorrow, then will see him before he leaves again.
I'm at the last chapter in the book I'm doing, was going to do it this week and next, now that will have to wait. It's okay, being with Mom is more important.
Got to rush away now, check out my kids' blogs, and transfer a load of wash and then go down my list of things to do and make my packing list, too.
Chat with you after Seattle.
~Jan
