Good News Worth Sharing...
Pet results back today. " Very good," said the doctor and added that unlike the original plan, we will NOT do chemo now. WHEW!!
Lost some more weight, so on with the plan to gain more, and also will go to physical therapy to build back up muscle mass and some strength and deal with a stiff neck and shoulder.
No scans now for four months --- time off for " good" behavior!!
Now, I can plan to go to my class reunion in Walla Walla without fear of a blood transfusion the day prior or worse, being sick from chemo... and can start my plans to go see my mother in Seattle.
And, on May 2 I will see ALL four of my kids! Does life get much better than that?
Thanks for all your positive vibes you sent my direction, and the prayers, and good wishes. They all contributed to the good news of today.
Hugs,
Jan
Congrats!

YAY!!!! This is wonderful news!! I am so thrilled. Anea called me tonight from Tucson, eager to know if I heard of the results. I just called her and she sends her rejoicing best as well. The brilliant and talented Judi Faye, who is wearing a really great pair of shoes ( Burl: "Where did you find those?" Judi: "In my closet!" ) also sends her congrats!

What a relief to bypass the chemo. Congratulations on doing the right things to get where you are. Wonderful reunion in WW should be a lot of fun. Let me know whatd you do to get rid of the stiff neck and shoulder paids. I get that sometime in late afternoon.
